Please consider upgrading to the latest version of Hessian version 4. We fell foul of the following bug:

Apparently this is fixed in 3.1.6 but there is no 3.1.6 version of the Flex component available from the Coucho site.

We tried downloading the source for the latest 3.1.x tag from the Coucho repo in order to build our own:

svn://svn.caucho.com/resin/tags/3.1.10/modules/flash/src/hessian


But this did not resolve the issue. Nor did making the Hessian Flash code tweaks suggested in the bug report. In the end we studied the latest 4.0 version of the Flex component to see if a different approach had been made with regard to this issue. There was a difference and it seems this issue is fixed under version 4.

Since the 3.1.* code on the site has not had a release since mid-2008, doesn't it make sense to make Flamingo use Hessian 4?
